Enhance Your Business Communications and Productivity with RingCentral for Google Chrome Extension

This app requires you to uninstall and reinstall once a week now. when you first open your browser and try to login to the app, either it will succeed or it will leave you with a spinning icon. only way to fix it is to reinstall the app. Now today, when i try to call using the app, it doesnt even dial out. you hit the green call button and the phone number vanishes and nothing happens. now i have to manually paste phone numbers from chrome into the main ringcentral app. that is slow as heck!

This plug in was working great in the past, but now seems to not be keeping up with updates. This plug-in used to work for phone number displayed on-screen, but it doesn't work on the new Zoominfo plug-in update. Pretty essential to the GTM workflow. I will have to find a new plug-in to use if this isn't fixed.

If my job was to install, uninstall, reinstall, uninstall and reinstall this extension over and over again, I would be a multi millionaire. Works for a few days and then stalls out. Doesn't any test these programs before releasing them or is that our unpaid job? Total garbage.

Wont dial out all of a sudden. Incoming calls work, outgoing works on my mobile app, desktop app, and website. But the chrome extension will not dial out. I depend on this, seems I'm not alone. Please fix ASAP!

I am speaking on behalf of all business users of Ring Central here as an IT guy. THIS EXTENSTION DESPERATELY NEEDS TO GO BACK TO WORKING ---WITH--- THE DESKTOP APP RATHER THAN AGAINST IT. Installing this should not mean never being able to use the desktop app and web app again without it ringing over itself multiple times. There was a time this extension could hook into either the browser tab or the desktop app and work synergistically alongside it. It still does this if you install without updating. But the moment you click that little green banner, it becomes it's own separate instance that expects you to never use any other instance of it again. This is a severe design flaw that heavily limits functionality. Some users of this extension need it to be able to make calls quickly directly from webpages without having to fumble through copying and pasting into the terrible UI. Telling our users to only ever use one or the other will not work. I am begging you. Please work towards restoring linked functionality with other clients.

This thing sucks, it does not stay in the browser, it creates a new tab instead of staying in the same window as the old version did. Also keeps asking to allow mic permissions when they are already on

Why is chrome extension bugging so much that I have to restart it every two minutes just to be able to make a dial since the app freezes in a matter of one minute after I have restarted it.

We want to be able to add images or files to extension as in the original app. We can add them to the desktop app, but we cannot add them to the chrome extension.

By far, this extension for contact center is the worst I've ever seen in my entire professional career. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Unless it's fixed, using it is very disruptive. Important calls are being ruined because of this extension. It has immense potential and could tremendously benefit users.

This can be so useful extension. I am pleasing RingCentral to do update on it ASAP and make it much better than it is now. Its much easier for using than program.

Our call center of ~20 people uses this extension to 1-click dial out of the RingCentral main app. The extension is great when it works, but randomly logs out, crashes, or doesn't work frequently. We end up troubleshooting on our own most of the time, as RC's tech support and online help articles are essentially useless.

I cannot tell y'all how frustrated I am with RC. We as a business have been using RC for years now. It worked fantastically until about a year ago when I started getting strange messages. Our whole company uses Chromebook - RC started not allowing log in, or logging me out without notice, or giving me odd messages like "you are low on disk space", etc. which is ridiculous. I take hundreds of calls a week. Are you telling me I have to use this little tiny extension instead of the RC browser now? Just because I use a Chromebook? We are going to have to switch to another provider.

The simple becomes complicated. I tried to send my first SMS and when the estension noted that a ;valid number' which was my own phone number, wasn't valid, it placrd a pause on my account form the administrator (me?) and I was unable to use the extension. So the simple act of trying to send a SMS led to my inability to use the app at all. As with most Ring Central apps, and the user interface, it is convoluted, clumsy, and complicated. Nothing is simple, and that leads to wasted time and energy.

How can you adjust the volume of the ring or at least toggle off the ringing noise in browser?

Screw RingCentral. I'm switching to Dialpad

I am able to log in but once it's time to load at all it just has a spinning wheel and does nothing. The only feature wanted is click to call as I would rather use the downloaded program.

can almost copy paste other reviews from in here, having the same experience. Having to uninstall/reinstall at least 2-3 times a week, when it works it's good but the hassle of making it work is not worth it.

It needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled constantly or you can't log in. When it works it's good though. Pretty terrible for a paid service though
